Built From Curiosity
I have always tried to figure out how things work. I wrote my first line of code at 16 in a high school BASIC class and never really stopped. At 19, my dad brought home a 6-channel PLC demo unit from work. There was no class, no instructor; just me and a book on the language. By the time I was done I had programmed it to run a drag strip Christmas tree light sequence and a lane winner indicator for my slot car track. That's still how I approach every problem and I will approach your business's problems with the same curiosity.
Over the next three decades I picked up FORTRAN, COBOL, LUA, and C# none of it in a classroom, All of it for fun while working too because something needed building and I wanted to build it.
I spent the better part of my career (30 years) in oil and gas, working away from home more than I was there. My wife eventually sat me down and told me it was time to come home and do software full time so I'd actually be around. Best conversation we ever had. I'm now finishing a Software Development degree at Grand Canyon University while building The AI Integration Specialists from the ground up.
The business itself was conceived while cleaning the house and thinking about what comes next. The best ideas really do come from the most unglamorous moments.
